Real Life Story--Letter from a middle class old man to rajagopal

I have this friend…he writes to me regularly….i am sharing after removing very personal things…

I made Sweet Rice for Abhirami for the Pournamasya pooja after the usual Upavasam….i cried after seeing this mail…..i generally call him on phone…I have never seen…I don’t know if at all I would see him..

I cry and ask Abhirami to answer the following questions…..if you get any answer please share with me

This is self introduction: Wife is a XXXXXX  teacher in a private school.  Self was doing business and serving in a private firm as Cashier and Accountant (doing in Tally).  We are late married and our only daughter's marriage took place in 2010 and she and her family i.e. with son in law and a baby of 1 1/2 year old are in USA recently gone there for about 3 years. I was doing some on line jobs (image editing work and working for a company as a manager on line.  Now I don't have any work on my hand. We have got a own house in XXXXXX but there is no regular income for both of us. I am 69 running. As we are only two and to look after all affairs relating to our house, I prefer to work at home itself (online) as it would be convenient. To make the two ends meet we have to work and earn some thing. As I met with an accident and got some injury on my left shoulder, I am unable to go for any jobs outside and also I have to be a guard to my aged wife, who will be alone in the house, which is in a remote area at XXXXXXX. We don't have facility of getting pensions etc. So I am praying to Abhirami Amma as Sri Abhirami Bhattar prayed to always keep me having contacts with Her and also let me not so depressed that I may miss my continuous prayers to Her.

Sir, please tell me the details about your family and relatives as to how many children you have and about your better half.  Sir, Have you seen the sloka in Bhagavath Geeta ' UDHAREDH ATHMANATHMANAM' ? For success or failure of one, one oneself is responsible  and has no right to blame anybody else. This is what I have learnt in my life. What is there within is without. Abhirami Bhattar prays to Amma through padhigam:

Prajapati the Guru of all creatures taught the students and after completion of the studies  asked the Guru to give instruction

Teacher uttered the letter “ da” (द​ )

1)

He asked the Heavenly bodies, “Have you understood?”

The Heavenly bodies (Devas) said, “Yes Sir, you said “control yourself”

(The Devas were referring to the meaning, “dAmyata iti

दाम्यत इति  which means control yourself!)

Guru said, “Yes, you have understood”

2)

He asked men, “Have you understood?”

The human beings said, yes Sir, you said “give”

(The humans were referring to the meaning “ datta iti”

दत्त इति which means give)

Guru said, “Yes, you have understood”

3)

He asked demons “Have you understood?”

The Demons said, “Yes Sir, you said “Be compassionate”

( the Demons were referring to the meaning, “ dayatvam iti”

दयध्वम् इति which means compassion

The beauty is not in the meaning;

I look at the group’s understanding;

the heavenly bodies understood “ control”

the human beings understood “ give”

the demons understood “ compassion”

heavenly bodies do not require anything else; hence they may go out of gear; hence control is a necessity

for human beings nothing can be taken from here, this earth after death; so giving is essential

for demons, arrogance is the blood; hence compassion is essential

all the above 3 are not different from us; we could be all the three depending upon maturity
