3 Commandments of Kanchi Seer and rajagopal

One person demonstrated that absolute penance is possible on Earth....it was Sri Kanchi Senior Seer Paramacharya;

i am compelled to share a miracle;

i registered his 3 commandments in my mind

I. Perform Sandyavandanam 3 times daily.
II. Do Sahasra Gayathri.
III. Observe Ekadasi Upavasam.

my Father is responsible for my and my brothers regular performance of Trikaala Sandhyavandanam....it is by default...till death i cannot survive without Sandhyavandanam

though i chant 108 x 3 gayathri mantras daily, Sahasra Gayathri is an inspiration from Senior Kanchi seer; i perform every Sunday remembering Him for making me do this; this will be exclusive than the regular quota

Ekadasi upavas ...i have a practical issue; i observe Pradosham on Trayodasi Thithi; this is for years i have been following; many a time Ekadasi and Trayodashi fall on consecutive days( for example, today is Ekadasi and tomorrow pradhosham);
when i read His 3 commandments, i experimentally started Ekadasi upavas also; this is happening for quite some time now;

Now the MIRACLE Part:

every Ekadasi throws me a challenge--whether to observe Upavas or not to observe, as my preference/priority is for Trayodasi ( this conflict is not a war between Vishnu and Siva); 
last ekadasi i was washing the balcony; the arlier day i collected TULSI seeds from office garden to be sown and grown; it was on the table; while washing i saw a full streak of seeds...TULSI seeds ; i was surprised if i had thrown the parcel carelessly; i checked the table; the parcel remained unopened; also the seeds collected by me were in loose and this finding while washing was a streak;
so i took the DIVINE command to observe Ekadasi upavas extinguishing my conflict; also Mahaperiyava instructs us to do fasting without water for 24 hours; i consume coffe/tea/water;
again this time yesterday evening my conflict started; i was reading; my daughter brought a TULSI plant and a pot for that'
okay you may ask why i am connecting Tulsi and Vishnu; hope you are aware of the divine connection between Tulsi leaves/plant and Lord Vishnu;
so after seeing that i took the command and i am on Upavas;

so i do not know if i deserve any merit but it gives me the blissful feeling ....

Power of Panchakshara-Miracle of Kanchi Senior Acharya( Maha Periyava)

Smt Mangaiyarkarasi, a Tamil Professor, was speaking on the glory of Sakti Panchakshari MahaMantram to a big audience somewhere that was telecast last week in Vijay TV.

She was mentioning about Appar (Tirunavukkarasar) Swamigal’s absolute faith in the efficacy of ‘NamaSivaya’ which came to his rescue to float him on the waters. You may recall this happened when the Jain King sought to punish him by tying him on a big stone and throwing him in the deep water to make sure he would drown.

She recalled a comparatively recent event from our Maha Periyava’s life. A few devotees built a temple for Lord Siva somewhere in Andhra. When they tried to carry the sculpted Linga made of stone to the sanctum,they could not move IT even an inch. Anxiety writ large on their faces,they came to report the matter to Maha Periyava. After a few minutes’ pause, Maha Periyava. asked them to bring one Sri Vaidyanatha Sastri from somewhere near Trichy. Maha Periyava whispered something into his ears and advised the Andhra devotees to take him along with them to their town.

On reaching their place, Sri Sastrigal was doing Japa for hours together after his daily anushtanams. The devotees were perplexed as they expected this Sastrigal to advise them something useful to allay their predicament. Nonetheless, they
just kept and did not disturb Sri Sastrigal.
On the 21st day of his stay there, after his Japa, Sri Sastrigal asked them to shift the Lingam. Lo ! They were able to do it in no time!

They told Sri Sastrigal that the Lingam which earlier weighed so much not allowing them to move IT by even an inch was now like a mass of cotton, so light and easy to move.

They requested him to explain the miracle to them. Sri Sastrigal told them he too did not know,except that Maha Periyava asked him to do the Panchakshara Japam for 21days devotedly,sitting in front of that Lingam, -that’s all!

Prof Mangaiyarkarasi said Maha Periyava with His Tapomahima could demonstrate in the 20th Century what Appar Swamigal did centuries ago to prove the efficacy of Siva Panchaksharam!

Atmabodha and the need for rajagopal to CHANGE

Atma Bodha or knowledge of Self (Atma) is an outcome of deep thinking 

about why we are born and living, 

influencing or getting influenced by every one around us, 

developing relations with them both physically and mentally,

worrying for them

either losing them or leaving them temporarily due to life cycle and permanently
by death.

again answering the question " Why Atmabodha" it is proper to take help from the author of Atmabodha....who lived just for 32 years..

Sankara vehemently argues that all RITUALS are nonsense and ridiculous if those rituals cannot purify the doer's heart;

rituals are the warm up sessions and not the main exercises;

if a person continues to think wrong and do wrong while doing rituals, poojas, prayers regularly, it will be similar to a person washing his ANUS while defecating continuously in the toilet;

KNOW the purpose

otherwise do away with nonsensical poojas/offerings

i have seen people taking a one rupee coin out of their pocket and show to the idol in the sanctum sanatorium repeatedly and then deposit in the HUNDI;

hey Ram....we have deteriorated GOD to the level of Marwari;

Sankara never recommends a GOD;

The Yogi who crosses the ocean of Moha (delusion) and kills the demons called likes and dislikes will be peaceful and dwells in the glory of his own real self as an Atma Rama.

there is no need to go to Ayodhya, Shridi, Mantralayam when your Atma Ram is in hibernation in you;
just kill your delusion and be victorious over likes and dislikes, you will be the King of the Universe; nothing can bother you....

A person searches for the gold ornament already in his neck due to his forgetfulness. When he later finds it, he feels very happy as if he found a new ornament. He has thus lamented over a thing which is
not lost.

i am touched by the support given by Quantum Physics;

The whole creation is pervaded by Brahman;  

It is because of Brahman only all actions are taking place in this universe.

Brahman permeates everything as butter permeates milk.

Okay, you may ask how about Vacuum; when we assume vacuum is nothing and how God can exist in Vacuum;

Vacuums are often defined as the absence of everything.

One bizarre consequence of this uncertainty is that a vacuum is never completely empty, but instead buzzes with so-called “virtual particles” that constantly wink into and out of existence.

The strangest result of the uncertainty principle is what it says about vacuums.

"According to quantum theory, the vacuum contains neither matter nor energy, but it does contain fluctuations, transitions between something and nothing in which potential existence can be transformed into real existence by the addition of energy.(Energy and matter are equivalent, since all matter ultimately consists of packets of energy.) Thus, the vacuum's totally empty space is actually a seething turmoil of creation and annihilation, which to the ordinary world appears calm because the scale of fluctuations in the vacuum is tiny and the fluctuations tend to cancel each other out.

But it is not so in quantum theory. There is an inherent uncertainty in the amount of energy involved in quantum processes and in the time it takes for those processes to happen

I believe you got something from NOTHING…that is VACUUM

Power of Promise and Love for Mother

You all know Adi Sankaracharya;

We do not try to understand the delicate lessons taught by the preceptors;

At the most we erect temples, make them IDOLS, like the stone GODS and continue to do all the nonsense we feel like doing in the name of Guru/God;

A glimpse into the life of Sankara ( it is a brilliant name and I love it)

Sankara was filled with the spirit of renunciation early in his life. Getting married and settling to the life of a householder was never part of his goal in life, though his mother was anxious to see him as a gruhasta. Once when he was swimming in the river, a crocodile caught hold of his leg. Sankara sensed that he was destined to die at that moment, and decided to directly enter the fourth Ashrama of sanyas right then. This kind of renunciation is called Apata sanyas. The crocodile released him when he thus mentally decided to renounce the world, and Sankara decided to regularize his decision by going to an accomplished guru. To comfort his anxious mother, he promised that he would return at the moment of her death, to conduct her funeral rites, notwithstanding the fact that he would be a sanyasi then.

Meanwhile, Sankara heard that his mother was dying, and decided to visit her. Remembering his promise to her, he performed her funeral rites. His orthodox relatives would not permit him to do the rites himself, as he was a sanyasi, but Sankara overrode their objections, and built a pyre himself and cremated his mother in her own backyard. After this, he once again resumed his travels and the noble mission.

I am interested in 2 things:

1)   Sanka, though a saint, followed his Swadharma…means –self law of duty

2)   When he realized he was going to die premature, he took up sanyasa –renunciation-so that he could serve the society before the final retreat( DEATH)

Dharma cannot be rigid, as rigidity makes one narrow minded and stubborn;

Dharma allows our mind to think, discriminate, choose and act accordingly. We cannot simply shut down our mind in the name of dharma.

However wayward thinking does not help, hence when it comes to dharma, we are taught to think in a way that helps us increase our faith in God without getting superstitious or compromising our intellect.

Dharma does not asks to brainwash ourselves and others in its name.

Mere parroting does not help.

An ounce of practice is thousand times better than tons of theory.

Sanskara demonstrated the above and continues to be an inspiration because of that

Ubermensch means "Overman, Overhuman, Above-Human, Superman, Superhuman, Ultraman, Ultrahuman, Beyond-Man"

Guru: can you count the number of leaves over there?
2: Yes Sir,
Guru: after so many births as the number of leaves, you will get enlightenment
2 started dancing/rejoicing
( he could see LIGHT at the END of the tunnel

so life is what we make out of it

i could not resist remembering Nammazhvar who wrote in Tamil:

ichchuvai thavira yaanpoai

" Oh! Lord! You have the physical appearance as that of a majestic green mountain;

your lips are red as coral;

Your eyes are like the lotus flowers;

You never fail your devotees;

Oh! God of the Gods!

Yet, you appeared as a youthful lad in the cowherd family!

Even if you grant me the Paramapada( HEAVEN), I would not prefer it to the beatitude I enjoy here and now at your feet in Srirangam"

before i start please read my morning post

let us talk about Schrodinger's Cat

place a live cat inside a chamber that has no peep in mechanism or air circulation;
place a vial of Hydrocyanic acid;
there is already a small amount of Hydrocyanic acid in the chamber; Hydrocyanic acid is a radio-active substance;

If even a single atom of the substance decays during the test period, a relay mechanism will trip a hammer, which will, in turn, break the vial and kill the cat.

The observer cannot know whether or not an atom of the substance has decayed, and consequently, cannot know whether the vial has been broken, the hydrocyanic acid released, and the cat killed.

Since we cannot know, according to quantum law, the cat is both dead and alive, in what is called a superposition of states.

It is only when we break open the box and learn the condition of the cat that the superposition is lost, and the cat becomes one or the other (dead or alive). this leads to observer's paradox:

the observation or measurement itself affects an outcome, so that the outcome as such does not exist unless the measurement is made. (That is, there is no single outcome unless it is observed.)

so let us apply this philosophy in our day today affairs....

Quantum Mechanics explains how probabilities change with time;

For example, if you want to make a trip of a hundred miles, you can not know ahead of time exactly how long it will take. You might run into a traffic jam. You can only give an estimated time. In quantum mechanics probabilities are different. They are not considered to result from our limited understanding of the universe, but to be fundamental.

In the quantum mechanical model nothing ever happens! .....

To understand Schrödinger's cat, one must understand what a strange theory quantum mechanics is.

In all other scientific theories, we have models of how we think things work.

For example, we know that distance traveled equals time traveled multiplied by velocity.

If you travel for two hours at 50 miles an hour, you will go one hundred miles. We can measure the time with a clock and the distance with the odometer on your car.

Quantum mechanics is not like that. What we measure in experiments is not described by quantum mechanics. Instead quantum mechanics gives the probability that we will make a given measurement.......

before getting into Maya or Illusion let us talk about another scientist Neils Bohr

Niels Bohr proposed a solution to create the events we all observe.

He assumed that conscious observation caused events. He thought there was an aspect of the world described by the evolution of probabilities in quantum mechanics, and an aspect of the world that we observe.

Whenever we look in the box or make a measurement, we get some definite result and not just a probability.

But quantum mechanics never models these events.

If we do not look, there are no events. There are just probabilities changing.

Such is the nature of illusion that we take comfort from what we see as just and get upset over what we perceive as unjust......

He had three sons,

According to his will:

the first son should get one-half of his wealth, 
the second one-third

Now how could the sons divide 17 elephants among themselves in the manner stipulated?

The wise king, who happened to be passing by on his elephant, said he would solve the problem. 
He alighted from his elephant and put it beside the 17 of the dead man’s. 
He said he had added his elephant to the 17 to make the number even.

So the first son got one-half of the 18 that is nine elephants. 
The second got one-third of the 18 that is six. 
The third got two, one-ninth of the 18 elephants.

The king said: “This leaves one elephant, the one I added to your father’s collection. I take it back now that the division of the elephants among you is over.”

The sons were happy that the division was in accordance with their father’s will.

was the division indeed in accordance with their father’s will?

It was not.

It was a mere illusion that they had kept to the provisions of the will.

Such is the nature of illusion that we take comfort from what we see as just and get upset over what we perceive as unjust.”

Once Narada said to Krishna, “Lord show me Maya.”

After a few days Krishna asked Narada to make a trip with him towards a desert.

After walking several miles Krishna asked Narada to fetch some drinking water.

Narada entered a nearby village and knocked at a door which was opened by an extremely beautiful young girl.

At the sight of her Narada forgot everything and began talking with the girl. That talk ripened into love; he asked the girl’s father for the daughter; they were married, lived there and had three children. After twelve years his father-in-law died and Narada inherited his property. He lived, as he seemed to think, a very happy life with his wife and children, his fields and his cattle, and so forth.

Then came a flood. One night the river rose until it overflowed its banks and flooded the whole village. Houses fell, men and animals were swept away and drowned and everything was floating in the rush of the stream. Narada had to escape. With one hand he held his wife, and with the other two of his children; another child was on his shoulders and he was trying to ford this tremendous flood. After some time the child on his shoulders fell and was swept away by the current of the water. In trying to save that child, Narada lost his grasp of the other children who were also lost. At last his wife was also torn away from his tight clasp and Narada was thrown on the bank, weeping and wailing in bitter lamentation.

Behind him came a gentle voice, “My child, where is the water? You went to fetch a pitcher of water for me, and I have been waiting for you; you have been gone for quite half-an-hour.” “Half-an-hour!” Narada exclaimed! Twelve whole years seemed to have passed through in his mind; but in fact all these scenes had happened in half-an-hour only. And this is Maya

This quantum theory of "nothing happens" is reiterated in the Mahabharata when the voice of a Yaksha asked Yudhishtir:

‘Of the entire world’s wonders, which is the most wonderful?’

the celebrated reply was: ‘that no man, though he sees others dying all around him, believes that he himself will die’.

This is Maya.

Quantum mechanics is always related to Time and Space;
it is used to predict what will happen in the future;

in quantum physics fundamentally particles do not have individuality

Traditional quantum mechanics stipulates that a particle has no set properties until it is observed, following which it randomly sets certain properties, based on probabilities.

The Many Worlds Theory proposes that for each observation, a universe is created containing the possibilities that did not occur.

Therefore, for each interaction in life, there are an infinitely many universes, each based on different outcomes.

So.....do you make out the effects of MAYA?

You are quite literally the creator of your reality!!

Your thoughts, (which are also energy) which are determined by your beliefs, are broadcast outward into the infinite field of "wave" energy much like a radio frequency, transformed from waves (spiritual realm) to particles (matter) and join together with additional energies which vibrate at a harmonious frequency and join together to shape what you come to see as your life experience in the physical world. YOUR physical world. You quite literally have the ability to mould and shape the various areas of your life, based on how you think, believe and feel!!.

In a nutshell.....
Whatever you think about and believe to be true regardless if those beliefs are based on "real truth" or "perceived truth" are what determines how your life will unfold.

Quantum physics tells us that it is the act of observing an object (events, conditions and circumstances) that causes it to be there and the outcome is based only on how we observe it.

An object cannot and does not exist independently of its observer!

you remember i mentioned KANDAVAR VINDILAR, VINDAVAR KANDILAR?

The Quantum Field is an "Infinite" field of potential. Anything and everything that has, does or will exist, begins as a wave in this field and is transformed into the physical realm, limited only by what can be conceived as truth by the observer!!
Who is this observer? YOU!!

Taken a step further, if you can conceive and believe in the materialization of your BIGGEST hopes dreams and desires, they already exist as a wave in the quantum field (which is INFINITE in nature) as a probability of existence only awaiting YOU to make them real.

If you believe / think / feel at some level, whether consciously or subconsciously, that money is difficult to come by, the energy emitted and broadcast will harmonize with energy of a harmonious frequency and your life will reflect that of money being difficult to come by.

By the same token if you believe that money flows to you effortlessly and maintain the conscious and subconscious beliefs regarding that, you will find that money becomes easy to acquire.

Quantum Physics has the answer...

atoms are made of protons , electrons and neutrons

Nucleus contains protons( +ve) and neutrons( neutral)

electrons which are negative surround the nucleus

The electrons in an atom are attracted to the protons in the nucleus by the electromagnetic force. This force binds the electrons inside an electrostatic potential well surrounding the smaller nucleus, which means that an external source of energy is needed for the electron to escape. The closer an electron is to the nucleus, the greater the attractive force. Hence electrons bound near the center of the potential well require more energy to escape than those at greater separations.

...Hey Ram...

town cow is proton.....our good deeds

blind cow is electron...our own self

( neutrons are the elevated souls or the guardian spirits)

In Quantum Physics we understand, squeezing the electron too close to the proton( by Coulomb force) makes the electron exist in very small space and thus via the Heisenberg uncertainty its momentum can be very high. This "pushes" the electron farther away from the proton

means the self is liable to be thrown out of the universe

the two feet are the plug points which when connected

so the channelized electron flow through the bulb of Divine Grace, makes the bulb of Bliss glow in our life

The problem is all these hypotheses have their inherent flaws as they do not explain some ifs and buts

I am going to share this part of PHYSICS as a THRILLER !!!

Entropy is a thermodynamic quantity representing the unavailability of a system's thermal energy for conversion into mechanical work;

Please note ENTROPY is not energy;
Entropy is a measure of the DISORDER of any system

There are different methods of representing the second law of Thermodynamics

The Second Law of Thermodynamics states that the state of entropy of the entire universe, as an isolated system, will always increase over time.

The second law also states that the changes in the entropy in the universe can never be negative

To make the above explanations possible, i have to ask the question, " Why does Life exist?"

The law of increasing entropy drives matter to acquire life-like physical properties;

MEANS:

Irregularities, deficiencies, disorder ...all drive the matter in the UNIVERSE to acquire what we stamp as LIFE!!!!

Are you getting me??

The origin and subsequent evolution of life follow the FUNDAMENTAL law of nature to have an expression in a LIVE form and it is not a surprise....

Is it overdose????

No, read more and you will become more composed/ more balanced in LIFE

I simplify the facts i have stated earlier ...

When a group of atoms is driven by an external source of energy (like the sun or chemical fuel) and surrounded by a heat bath (like the ocean or atmosphere), it will often gradually restructure itself in order to dissipate increasingly more energy.

This could mean that under certain conditions, matter inexorably acquires the key physical attribute associated with life.

Do you make out the implications of the above facts?

The disorder expresses itself as LIFE...and disorderliness will be directly proportional to the lives that take shape and is irreversible..

You may ask the question; what is the end point?

There will be more imperfections and there will be more lives...

Then tell me the ULTIMATE happening?

So lovers of Krishna, feel happy; 
ENTROPY assures return of Krishna every now and then as more and more Shakunis, Duryodhans and Duschasans are in the offing......
