Ubermensch and Nammazhvaar

i am not talking about James Bond here;
Ubermensch means "Overman, Overhuman, Above-Human, Superman, Superhuman, Ultraman, Ultrahuman, Beyond-Man"
it is a German word;
No No No i am not starting German speaking Course in FB;
this is the technique of Subliming our desires into art or any creativity;
Friedrich Nietzsche was a German philosopher writer who recommends, "Live Your Life as a Work of Art"
he wrote many books-one is -- The Gay Science:
Refer to Page 341:
What if some day or night a demon were to steal after you into your loneliest loneliness and say to you: 'This life as you now live it and have lived it, you will have to live once more and innumerable times more' [...] Would you not throw yourself down and gnash your teeth and curse the demon who spoke thus? Or have you once experienced a tremendous moment when you would have answered him: 'You are a god and never have I heard anything more divine.'
is it not something strikingly similar to the following traditional story?
2 disciples approached their Guru
1: when will i get enlightenment?
Guru: after 20 births
1: starting crying
( probably he did not like taking another 20 births)
2: Swamy, when will i get enlightenment?
Guru: do you see this banyan tree?
2: Yes Sir,
Guru: can you count the number of leaves over there?
2: Yes Sir,
Guru: after so many births as the number of leaves, you will get enlightenment
2 started dancing/rejoicing
( he could see LIGHT at the END of the tunnel
so life is what we make out of it
i could not resist remembering Nammazhvar who wrote in Tamil:
pachchaimaa malaipoal maeni
pavalavaay kamalach chenkann
achchuthaa! amara rerae!
aayar_tham kozhunthae! ennum,
ichchuvai thavira yaanpoai
inthira loaka maalum,
achchuvai perinum vaedaen
arankamaa nakaru Laanae!
" Oh! Lord! You have the physical appearance as that of a majestic green mountain;
your lips are red as coral;
Your eyes are like the lotus flowers;
You never fail your devotees;
Oh! God of the Gods!
Yet, you appeared as a youthful lad in the cowherd family!
Even if you grant me the Paramapada( HEAVEN), I would not prefer it to the beatitude I enjoy here and now at your feet in Srirangam"
is this not similar...
you may agree or disagree....
nothing is wrong or right..
