you can enjoy the wonderful music ; the songs of Maha Deskar are sung by Shrimathi Mani Krishnaswamy, a great Carnatic musician; she reminds me of my eldest sister Shrimathi Mythili who also used to just shower lovely songs

this is Venkatesa Daya Satakam written by Vedanta Desikan who wrote in Tamil and Sanskrit equally well; my Father was a fan of Mani Krishnaswamy and Venkatesa Daya Satakam; I could not understand when he was alive the meaning of his attachment to Desikan

yields the following meaning in very rough English translation:

"The pAdukAs of Lord of SriRangam
-- render sinless all things and all beings of this world
-- protect all beings in this world and the other
-- reward all men who do their bounden duty by their parents and
punishes those that fail in it
-- elevates the devotees of God in the eyes of all the worlds
-- maintains eternal order in both heavenly and earthly spheres".
